Proposed Constitutional Amendment XXIX

Amendment XXIX:

Section 1.

The sixteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2.

The Congress of the United States shall hereby be restricted to those areas and methods of taxation laid out in the Articles of this Constitution. Furthermore, Congress shall henceforth be prohibited from laying any income-based taxes on an individual or group of individuals, regardless of the source of said income.
